    Press the PHONE button. The system will begin the pairing process automatically.

    Touch ADD NEW.

    Turn on your phone's BLUETOOTH® and select the device (Genesis) found by the phone.
    Bluetooth® setting can be found in SETTINGS app on most phones. Refer to your phone's owner's manual or visit www.GenesisBluetooth.com for more information.

    Your phone may require a PASSKEY. If prompted, enter it into your phone.

    The vehicle will confirm that your phone has been successfully connected.

    If your phone prompts a phone book/contacts access request, it is advisable to select ALWAYS ALLOW / DON’T ASK AGAIN.

    If you would like to give this phone the highest priority, select YES when prompted.
  • Note
    If your phone is supported, your contact list may be transferred to your vehicle automatically. Depending on the phone make and model:
    • Some phones may request approval to download contacts. This process will take a few minutes.
    • Contacts list may start with First or Last Name, depending on phone model.
    • Some phones may require additional confirmation on their device to allow contacts to sync.

    The vehicle will attempt to connect to the last phone used, select CANCEL.

    Press the PHONE button again.

    Select ADD NEW.

    The vehicle will confirm that it has connected to your phone.
